Legal Advisory Service

The Law Society of South Australia has been running the Legal Advisory Service for more than 20 years and in that time has assisted more than 22,000 people.

An experienced practising solicitor is available for a 20 minute appointment to answer your basic questions on any legal problem. It may be relating to a family law matter, property dispute, an argument with a neighbour or a motor vehicle accident or offence. Your issue will be discussed and recommendations given as to the next step for you to take. Many common problems can be resolved or made much clearer after a brief talk with a solicitor. If the matter is complex you might use the service to decide whether to take the matter further.

A 20 minute interview with a solicitor costs $25 (or $15 for pension or concession card holders).
