1 CPD Unit (Bullying, Discrimination and Harassment)

Presenters: Dean Clifford-Jones (He/Him), National Chairperson of Pride in Law and Zoran Petric (He/Him) Deputy Chairperson of Pride in Law

In this session, attendees will learn about Pride in Law's experiences within the legal profession and explore how diversity, through allyship, strengthens legal practices. The presenters will discuss the key impacts that bullying, discrimination, and harassment have had on the community, and highlight what members of the legal profession can do to further advance our understanding of the LGBTIQA+ community within the legal field.

About Pride in Law:
Pride in Law is Australia's National LGBTIQA+ Law Association. We are a non-political association, aimed at connecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, and asexual (LGBTIQA+) members of the legal community and their allies. We formed as a law association to bring together the LGBTIQA+ legal profession across multiple disciplines.

This session is followed by the Law Society Social: Member Lounge Drinks with Pride in Law. Please also register to attend this event to enjoy an evening of relaxed conversation, drinks and canapes in the Members Lounge.

The Law Society of South Australia is a proud sponsor of Pride in Law.

Registration Fees:
This CPD session is offered complimentary and exclusively to Law Society Members only.
