Any lawyer whose clients are parties to standard form contracts need to know how the new Unfair Contract Term (UCT) regime works as:
  • Contracts not previously caught now might be;
  • Not so small businesses now need to know about the UCT regime; and
  • Penalties for breach are significant.

In this session, attendees will learn how to identify a UCT and further learn the consequences of them being in a standard form contract.
