Building your Workplace Wellbeing Workshop
Health and wellbeing experts will guide attendees through a roadmap to building a healthy, safe and thriving workplace in this interactive in-person workshop.

Everyone deserves to work in a place where their health and wellbeing matter. Learn from the workplace health and wellbeing experts from Preventive Health SA and ReturnToWorkSA, to help guide you through a roadmap to build a healthy, safe and thriving workplace. Join our 4-hour workshop which will provide workplace leaders with an integrated approach to plan, implement and evaluate physical and mental health strategies in your workplace.
This session aims to:
Understand what, why and how of workplace health and wellbeing;
Understand the framework of an integrated approach to successful and sustainable healthy workplace;
Use the Healthy Workplace Toolkit in navigating the steps in building a healthy workplace including, leadership commitment;
Commence the start of an action plan to promote and protect physical and mental health in your workplace; and
Learn about the practical free resources, tools, and support services available.
This workshop is free for Members and ideal for Practice Managers who want guidance in knowing where to start in the health and wellbeing space or building on existing programs and strategies.
About the Presenters:
Mardi Webber, Mentally Healthy Workplaces Consultant - ReturnToWorkSA
Mardi commenced her career in the hospital sector as a nurse and midwife. From the clinical perspective of health care, she pursued her interest in the prevention of injury and disease and has worked in the work health safety and injury management field for the last 30 years. Her passion is in the area of workplace mental health, and as a Registered Psychologist, Mardi’s current role at ReturnToWorkSA is called Mentally Healthy Workplaces Consultant. In this role, Mardi provides free assistance and support to workplaces and industries in South Australia to help them to take action to establish thriving workplaces.
Sharina Nogot, Senior Project Officer, Healthy Workplaces - Preventive Health SA
Sharina is an IUHPE Registered Health Promotion Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in public health, including workplace health and wellbeing. She is currently finishing her Master of Public Health at Flinders University and holds a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is a health promotion specialist who works on a range of evidence-based health policies and programs internationally and in Australia, to prevent risks of chronic disease and improve population health. She is passionate about driving equitable health and wellbeing outcomes in the community, particularly in workplaces.
