This presentation will describe the methodology used by the Centre for Restorative Justice over recent years to assist victims and offenders to come to terms with the harm that has resulted from crime and its consequences. This method has proven to be very effective in Australia and overseas.

Restorative Justice as a concept can fit comfortably into many domains of the current criminal justice system, but this session will focus particularly on post-guilty plea, pre-sentence, face-to face victim/offender conferences in the Adult Court Jurisdiction.
