Working Group formed to address bullying, discrimination & harassment in the workplace
The Society recently formed a Working Group to consider the results of a Bullying, Discrimination and Harassment survey it conducted over the past two months and prepare recommendations for consideration by the Society's Council. The survey, which was sent to all Society Members, received a number of responses by practitioners who detailed instances of mistreatment in the workplace. The Society is committed to doing everything it can to work with practices to eliminate harassment, bullying, and discrimination in the workplace.
The Working Group will be led by incoming 2019 President Amy Nikolovski and Council Member Emma Shaw, with representation from the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Women Lawyers Committee, Wellbeing & Resilience Committee, Young Lawyers' Committee, and Ethics & Practice Committee.
