Rushed legislation to limit judicial discretion leads to inevitable injustice 

The Society calls for revision of laws that limit judicial discretion in sentencing following concerns raised by legal profession. The legislation introduced at the time of the Deboo appeal removes the discretion for a court to impose suspended sentences and intensive correction orders.
