An overview of the small business restructuring reforms under the Corporations Amendment (Corporate Insolvency Reform) Bill 2020

On 24 September 2020, the Government announced changes to Australia’s insolvency framework to introduce a new debtor in possession restructuring regime for small companies.  The legislation is due to commence from 1 January 2021.  This session will aim to summarise the key features of the new regime.
