The FCFCOA makes Orders under Section 79 of the Family Law Act to bind third parties and give effect to property settlements.  Know the legal mechanics to bind third parties.  This session is about joinder and substitution of parties in property settlement proceedings.  It will give you confidence using ancillary property orders to get what your client wants.  Don’t be afraid of Section 80(1) and 90AE of the Family Law Act. 

The session is aimed at family lawyers wanting confidence advising in more complex property settlements involving third parties.

Cancellation and Payment Terms: Registration fee payment is required in full at the time of registration. Previously paid registrations are transferable subject to the alternate attendee being eligible to register at the same registration fee (that is a practitioner who is not a Society member is not eligible to attend in place of a member without the price differential having been paid.
