This workshop will help you navigate those times when you find you need an interpreter for your clients whether it be in court, working with the police, or simply preparing material in the best and most practical way possible for the most successful outcome.

About the Presenter:
J. Angelo Berbotto LLB (Hons, UTS), LLM (Sapienza, Rome), LLM (Lon), LLM (Complutense, Madrid) is a solicitor based in Sydney and a NAATI certified translator (English > Spanish and French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish > English).
He has worked mainly in Child Protection Law and in Public Law, serving as Attorney-General of the British Overseas Territory of St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha from 2016 to 2018. Upon returning to Australia, Angelo worked as Assistant Parliamentary Counsel, drafting legislation, before deciding to pursue his legal career part-time and build up his translation practice in 2022.
Angelo was elected the President of the AUSIT at the AGM in November 2022.
