The Law Society of South Australia conducts a highly regarded CPD Programme for the professional development of South Australian legal practitioners. Presented by experts in varying fields of law from South Australia and interstate, the seminars provide an excellent opportunity to network and learn from a diverse range of experienced and well regarded members of the profession.
CPD events offer an excellent opportunity to develop your interest and skills in a specific area of law and provide the opportunity to meet with senior members of the profession practicing in that area.
The Law Society of South Australia also conducts a weekly program, primarily for legal practitioners, together with regular more intensive half day seminars and conferences on a particular area of law.
The programs are designed to cater for all levels of experience, from new lawyers to the more experienced practitioner.
The weekly seminars are usually held every Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:00pm at the Law Society, Level 10/ 178 North Terrace. Topics include changes to substantive law, court procedures and rules and law practice issues.
We also conduct intensive conferences, for example, one or two-day conferences on Personal injury Law, Migration Law, Criminal Law, Corporations Law and Succession Law, along with regular Country Conferences and Country Update Seminars.
Members receive a discounted rate for Law Society CPD activities and CPD Vouchers offering further discounts are available.
Practitioners are invited and encouraged to contact the CPD Unit on 08 8229 0222 or email
