Global Talent Migration & Legal Collaboration
Wednesday, 15 July 2026 | 5:30pm - 7:00pm | Via Live Zoom Webinar only
1.5 CPD units (Professional Skills)

Presenter: Dr Csilla Rostas, Hungarian Immigration Lawyer (presenting remotely)
Chair: Dr Margaret Bakker, Chair of International Legal Practice Committee

This session is presented by Csilla Rostas, Hungarian Immigration Lawyer (presenting remotely), in collaboration with the International Legal Practice Committee.

As countries compete to attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and remote workers, immigration lawyers increasingly play a central role in facilitating international mobility and cross-border business activity.

This presentation examines recent developments in German and Hungarian immigration law, with particular focus on Germany’s EU Blue Card system, IT specialist visas, work permits, and the Chancenkarte framework (jobseeker visa), alongside Hungary’s digital nomad (White card) and residency by investment pathways.

The session will discuss how immigration systems are evolving in response to labour shortages, digitalisation, and global mobility trends, while highlighting the practical challenges faced by international clients operating across multiple jurisdictions.

The presentation will additionally introduce Bridge Digital Platform, an international collaboration platform designed to connect immigration lawyers globally, strengthen referral relationships, and support coordinated legal services for international clients.
