To indicate you are a Member of the Society highlights that you are part of an organisation which promotes and adheres to strict professional and ethical requirements, and which provides resources to Members so that such standards are maintained.
A Gold Alliance Firm is defined as a private legal firm with 100% membership status, that is, all practitioners within that firm who hold a current Practising Certificate are Financial Members of the Law Society of South Australia. As a Gold Alliance Firm, we offer you the opportunity to use and display the Gold Alliance Firm logo in connection with the promotion of your firm.
Benefits of being a Gold Alliance Firm include:
- Gold Alliance Firm logo may be placed on your website, email footers and LinkedIn profile;
- Gold Alliance Firm logo may be published on stationery such as letterhead and business cards;
- 60% discount for the Standard Property Documents;
- 20% discount for the See a Lawyer Referral Service;
- 20% discount applied to any job advertisement using Career Centre;
- Gold Alliance Firm sticker to place on a glass door or window at the entrance to your firm or office; and
- Your firm will be listed on the Law Society website (Gold Alliance Firm page in the Lawyers section and the Community section) and in the Bulletin each year.

Become a Gold Alliance Firm
To discover if your firm is eligible to become a Gold Alliance Firm, please click here to view your law firm's legal practitioner listing and confirm all legal practitioners are listed as a 'Practitioner Member' under the Member Type heading. Please note you need be a Manager/Director/Partner/Principal or have access to your law firms' organisation reports access to view this page.
If your firm is eligible, a Manager/Director/Partner/Principal or Sole Practitioner is required to sign the Logo Licence Agreement. This Agreement contains a clause to the effect that Gold Alliance Firm status requires the ongoing full membership participation of all practising legal practitioners (all employees and partners).
