Advocacy in 2025
In 2025, the Society made 93 formal submissions, across a broad range of topics. The Society was mentioned 95 times in Hansard, and conducted approximately 40 stakeholder meetings, including 12 with politicians.
The Society relies on our members to inform relevant detailed, thoughtful advocacy work, through the Society’s Special Interest and Select Committees. We sincerely thank all Committee members for their contributions throughout the year. Their input has been critical to achieving impactful advocacy outcomes.
