Enhance your cultural awareness through an informative workshop on Aboriginal culture with Kuma Kaaru. This cultural awareness training will commence or enhance participants’ cultural journey through a comprehensive, in-depth workshop on the foundations of Kaurna Culture. This awareness increases cultural resurgence and strengthens relationships between Aboriginal People and the wider community.
 
The informative session will enable all participants to understand the broader Aboriginal culture. Kuma Kaaru aim to shape culturally capable workforces and encourage organisations to examine their values and belief systems.
About the Speaker:
Kuma Kaaru Cultural Service was formed to teach family, local Aboriginal People and Aboriginal People based in Adelaide that were disconnected from their own lands and culture. Kuma Kaaru has since become a central location for all Aboriginal cultural services, performing both locally and internationally. They aim to empower young people to relearn their language and culture and to educate others, becoming an inspiration to older generations.
