Industrial relations issues in construction – the new wild west?

This session will discuss the regulation of industrial relations issues on construction projects.  Changes are underway and there may be more industrial action in the industry.  This session will focus on what solicitors who act for clients in the construction industry need to know – in relation to both the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts, and in relation to problems which may arise during the course of projects.  It will discuss what remedies are available where a project is being affected by industrial action and what steps parties can take to seek to avoid delays due to industrial issues.
